On Thursday 22nd March, Mindstrong are hosting 'Outstanding Leadership', a FREE evening event for leaders. This inspirational evening offers attendees an insight into some of the challenges being faced by leaders today. Speakers at this event include Major Rob Fenwick, one of the highly esteemed Sea Harrier pilots. Promoted to Major at just 29, Rob has served tours in Yugoslavia, Northern Ireland and Afghanistan, where he was responsible for motivating junior pilots under challenging circumstances. Recent postings have seen him involved in the planning for Libya, business continuity and headcount reduction. (Click here to view the Harrier's momentus final flight.)
Karen Galley, who as a member of the senior management team at Transport for London, played a pivotal role in the delivery of the mammoth underground system refurbishment project. Responsible for project design and delivery, Karen established empirical performance measures and implemented a culture in which leaders and their teams would hold themselves and each other to account. Our third speaker; Mindstrong Managing Director Steve Bussey, coaches business leaders across the globe. Steve will be talking about some of the common leadership challenges businesses are facing and offering insight into workable solutions.
The evening will take place at The Perkins Learning Centre, Peterborough (view on Google map). Welcome drinks will be served from 6pm, with speakers starting at 6.30pm. Following the speakers, a light buffet will be served and attendees will have the chance to network with leaders from other industries over a glass of wine.
